What is it?
The Home Condition Report (HCR) is an assessment of the condition and construction of a property. It is an internal and external inspection of the buildings and services for a property.
Do I need it?
On 18th of July 2006, the government announced that the HCR would no longer be a mandatory document in the HIP. It is, however, still an authorised document, i.e. it is an allowable official document.
As part of a comprehensive service, we recommend all vendors consider obtaining an HCR.
